Dear DjangoFest Fans and Patrons,
As you all know Swing era music in the style of Django Reinhardt is undergoing resurgence around the world. Many younger and older musicians and listeners are being attracted to this style due to its infectious melodies and energetic rhythms. The DjangoFest series of music festivals has proven to be the premier showcase of ‘gypsy jazz’ in North America. DjangoFest San Francisco/Mill Valley, now in its fifth year, has presented some of the biggest names in the genre to thousands of happy fans throughout the Bay Area. In light of rising expenses involved in bringing European and world-class jazz performers to the Bay Area the producers of DjangoFest are looking to create a support fund by establishing a membership program. In so doing, we can continue to bring the same high quality of talent as we have in the past and further expand the visibility of this unique event. Businesses will also still have the opportunity to be a sponsor. All donations are tax-deductible. Memberships begin at just $50.00. It’s a great way to ensure that this great event continues on in this magical setting and phenomenal venue.
