Djangomatics is a trio (two acoustic guitars and an upright bass) that has been together since 2002, and played at Djangofest Northwest three times previously. They draw their inspiration from the musical legacy of Django Reinhardt and perform Gypsy-style swing jazz as well as Latin, Klezmer, and French musette. Their wide repertoire and experience enables them to perform in a variety of settings, ranging from intimate dinner music to high-energy stage performances. The Djangomatics will play at the Sunday matinee opening for the Biel Ballester Trio.
